Presented & curated group exhibition 'After Eden' for Herrick Gallery's programme in 2018.  The exhibition celebrated the diversity and richness of the natural world and hinted at its fate and potential decline at the hands of man.  We carefully curated a collection of artists that explore these concepts, investigating the complex relationship between man and nature and the potential consequences of the human pursuit for knowledge and power.  'After Eden' uses the fall of man after his banishment from paradise as a starting point for a broader discussion about the state of the world we live in today.  Artists included Anouska Beckwith, Orlanda Broom, Kristjana Williams and Marc Quinn.

The first live UK performance by artist Liu Bolin at Saatchi Gallery in 2017.  Whilst the artist's iconic photographic artworks are much acclaimed and collected, this was the first time that Bolin's work was showcased as a time-based performance.  The artist painstakingly posed in front of a specially produced backdrop, while a carefully trained team gradually painted him into the background by hand and in situ.  The team of painters meticulously emulated the complex background and painted over the entirety of the artist, until he was completely camouflaged.  This mesmerising performance garnered huge press attention, including Sky Arts TV, London Live TV, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, Evening Standard amongst others.

Commissioned to curate an international group exhibition at START art fair at Saatchi Gallery in 2017.  The exhibition investigates the spiritual connotations of the totem as an object invested in ritualistic dimensions.  The eclectic selection of artists each took a disparate approach to the notion of the sacred in their practices.  Participating artists included Anida Yoeu Ali, David Batchelor, James Hopkins, Lorenzo Vitturi, Saad Qureshi and Yarisal & Kublitz.

TALK WITH LIU BOLIN & NEW YORK TIMES

To accompany Liu Bolin's first UK performance in London, we presented and organised a talk for visitors in collaboration with The New York Times.  With the culture writer Farah Nayeri from NYT, the artist discussed his performance and the concept of his 'invisible man'.  The talk gave a fascinating insight into the process of creating his photographs, and the stamina and endurance needed to be painted for hours, blending into his chosen, and often poignant, backgrounds.

Mehta_Bell_Projects_Vanessa_Gounden_Anne

A unique art and fashion collaboration with Malaysian artist Anne Samat and fashion designer Vanessa Gounden.  We exhibited Samat's 'Domestic Goddess' sculpture at Vanessa Gounden's Mayfair boutique, as part of Browns London Art Weekend (now Mayfair Art Weekend).  By connecting the artist and fashion designer we created an absorbing art-viewing experience in an alternative context, generating footfall and exposure for both parties.

AUTISTICA EXHIBITION | FRIEZE LONDON & DEUTSCHE BANK

In conjunction with Frieze Art Fair, leading autism research charity Autistica approached us to help curate and organise an exhibition 'An Infinitely Beautiful Mind' to raise funds for the charity.  A pro-bono endeavour, we drew on our large network of artists to select artworks that celebrated and explored an alternative way of seeing and experiencing the world.  The artists shared a collective desire to represent human experience through detailed and highly laborious artistic techniques.
Supported and endorsed by Deutsche Bank as their 'Charity of the Year' in 2016, we also organised and hosted a private event for charity patrons and special guests of Deutsche Bank.

Connecting our extensive network of artists with prestigious members clubs in London, we have created a number of engaging and dynamic exhibitions for members and visitors.  These carefully curated exhibitions have resonated with the ethos and style of each location.  In addition to enhancing the clubs' environment and engaging members, this also gives artists a great opportunity for profile-building, exposure and sales.

Mehta Bell Projects - Matthew Williamson

An exciting installation by artists Tsai & Yoshikawa was launched at leading fashion designer, Matthew Williamson's flagship store in Mayfair.  The artists' signature bold use of colour, pattern, form and structure perfectly complemented the fashion designer's SS15 collection.
